If you’ve ever wondered, “Why is my child acting this way?” or “Am I responding the right way?”—you are not alone.

Parenting can feel overwhelming, especially in moments when emotions are high and nothing seems to work. What I want parents to know is this: your child’s behavior is not random—it is communication.

That’s why I am excited to begin offering the Circle of Security approach in my private practice, with a focus on supporting you as the parent.

What Is Circle of Security?

Circle of Security is a simple, relationship-based model that helps you understand your child’s emotional needs.

Imagine a circle:

At the top, your child moves away to explore, learn, and gain independence. At the bottom, your child comes back to you for comfort, reassurance, and connection.

Your child needs both.

When you are able to support them in exploring and be a safe place for them to return, they develop confidence, emotional security, and the ability to manage big feelings.

A Different Way to See Behavior

Instead of asking, “How do I stop this behavior?” we begin to ask, “What is my child needing right now?”

Because beneath every behavior is a need—often for connection, support, or help with overwhelming emotions.

And just as important:

You do not have to be perfect. You only need to be good enough most of the time.

Now Offering: 8-Hour Circle of Security Parent Training

I am now offering an 8-hour Circle of Security Parent Training designed to help you better understand your child and feel more confident in your parenting.

In this training, you will:

  • Learn how to recognize your child’s emotional needs

  • Understand when your child needs connection vs. independence

  • Explore your own reactions and parenting patterns

  • Gain practical, real-life strategies you can use immediately

  • Strengthen your relationship with your child

Options available:

  • Small group sessions

  • Individual parent coaching

This training is supportive, reflective, and designed to fit into real life—giving you tools you can use right away.

Is This Right for You?

This training is a great fit if you:

  • Feel stuck in challenging behavior patterns

  • Want a stronger connection with your child

  • Feel unsure how to respond in difficult moments

  • Are looking for guidance that feels supportive—not judgmental

  • Circle of Security supports parents whose children are between the ages of 3 months to 5 years

You Don’t Have to Do This Alone

Parenting is not meant to be done in isolation. With the right support and understanding, small shifts can lead to meaningful change.

If you’re ready to feel more confident, more connected, and more supported in your parenting, I would love to work with you.
