Q: How many appointments will I need to attend, and how often?
A: Each client is unique as are the individual treatment plans for each client. Your therapist will work with you during the initial evaluation process to develop a treatment plan specific to your particular needs.
Q: What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
A: A 24 hour notice is required for cancelling or rescheduling appointments. Late cancellations or “no-shows” may be charged a fee to be determined by their therapist.
Q: Do AIC counselors see children?
A: Yes, we have several counselors who work with children of various ages.
Q: Do I need to attend counseling sessions with my child?
A: Parents of minor children may choose to attend counseling sessions with their child as deemed appropriate by the counselor. Minors 12 years or older have the option to choose who may attend their sessions.
Q: Does AIC accept my insurance?
A: AIC accepts many major insurance providers. All insurance plans are different and benefits vary from one policy to the next. Please contact the customer service number on the back of your insurance card for details on your insurance plan and benefits.
Q: Does AIC accept Medicare / Medicaid?
A: AIC has several counselors approved to see Medicare clients. We do not accept Medicaid at this time.
Q: Do I need to file my own insurance claims?
A: AIC will file insurance claims with your insurance providers. Clients are responsible for providing accurate and updated insurance information to our office.
