Mary Kelley, LCPC I/EC MH-C

Clinical Therapist

Mary E. Kelley is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor credentialed in Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health. She brings over 15 years of experience to her work with children, parents and families. Her approach to treatment is to help parents understand their child’s emotional world by learning to read emotional needs, support their child’s ability to successfully manage emotions and develop their child’s self-esteem. Her goal is to make therapy a place where children and families can learn skills that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.

Prior to joining Associates in Counseling, Mary’s experience included working with Catholic Charities as a school counselor and 4-C, Rosecrance Berry and Youth Services Network as an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant. During that time she also worked for Northwestern/Kishwaukee Hospital emergency department as a counselor to those in crisis. Mary is also a facilitator for Circle of Security® Parenting™ which focuses on the early intervention models to increase attachment and security.

Mary holds a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Benedictine University. Mary received an Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Credential from The Illinois Association for Infant Mental Health.
