Amanda Flight, MSW LCSW
Clinical Therapist
Amanda is a social worker who has been working in the field since 2016. She earned her Bachelor's in Sociology, minored in Psychology, and earned a certification in Criminology in 2016 from Northern Illinois University.
Amanda started off her career working in the juvenile justice system with youth who were at risk for prison. In 2019, Amanda earned her Master's in Social Work, specializing in Forensics Social Work from Aurora University. She then transitioned into community mental health and provided case management and therapy services to adults from 2016-2020. In addition, she provided counseling services to inmates at a local jail and is still practicing. In 2021, Amanda went back to Aurora University and earned a specialization in School Social Work and holds a Professional Educator's License.
Since then, she has been working at a high school as a School Social Worker and has experience working with kindergarten through twelfth grade students. Amanda enjoys teaching her clients mindfulness techniques and utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
